At the start of this project I wanted to create something that was almost shocking and repulsive. My usual creative process includes random sketches and drawings until I find one I like , however this time I only had to draw one and I knew that is what I wanted to create. At the moment it has not yet had a performance but I have fully conceptualised one and am waiting for the ability to finally perform it. I love the end product I ended up with and I'm satisfied it keeps true to my original sketch.
Creating The Body
The first head
In the end I decided not to use this head. It was looking too flat and didn't represent my sketch as much as I wished it did.
The second head
i like this head much better i feel like it fits the proportions alot better and is more true to the skeach i did at the start.
Makinng the anatomy
I used liquid latex to create the cuts in the face and to reinforce the fabric and stop it running at specific points however i also used it to create the vulva and nipples of the puppet as i wanted he skin and slimy texture that the latex gave it was also a bonus the colour was also a gross kind of yellow that fir the puppets fleshy look.
