Cardboard Puppet

I tend to lean towards elf and orc like creatures so I knew I would start there. Looking through my artwork I decided on this drawing I had done a few months prior.

I then set on colleting scrap boxes  and began to figure out how I would make the shapes I would need. Once I had a part that I liked . I created patterns by tracing around it so I could make another part the exact same.

In the end I found that using cut up hair ties to connect the body parts created enough stretch that allowed a better range of motion. along side putting mettle rings inside the toes and hands to create a more realistic foot and hand movant.
